911 Dispatcher I
The City of Purcell is accepting applications for 911 Dispatcher. The duties may include the following: - Answer 911 calls and other business line calls, determine priority & response - Operate complex computer aided dispatch system - Monitor police and fire alarms - Create/Enter calls for service - Assist and direct public to appropriate department or agency as needed - Keyboarding requires 35 words per minute - test required - Ability to clearly enunciate all conversations and messages -
